Biomedical Engineer, Class 1, Part time (2days/wk for 10 mths)

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and conscientious biomedical engineer to join the Biomedical Engineering team at Alfred Health on a part time (2 days per week) basis for a 10 month period (maternity leave replacement).

The Biomedical Engineering department is responsible for maintenance, servicing, development and construction of medical devices in the Alfred Health hospital network. Duties include service and maintenance of specialised medical equipment.

Applicants must have a relevant engineering qualification; a good understanding of engineering principles; appropriate experience; well developed organisational skills; good written and verbal communication skills; and be capable of fitting in quickly to a progressive and professional team.
